at home you use virgin coconut oil.take plenty of green vegetable
and sufficient water.also required a sound sleep.check your thyroid i.e tsh test.

well the answer is: depends on what is the reason...
it is worth taking a blood test, mainly checking: thyroid function, vit. B12, Zinc and sex Hormon derivatives (of testosterone).
disturbances of all of those can cause weak hair and alopecia.
also check iron levels to see if there is no anemia.
supplements can help - though do remember that the best way is just to eat the "healthy food" :-)
also if there are hormonal problems there are some lotions with testosterone derivative to spray on the scalp. it do help in more then 70%.

you can take special vitamins formulated to strengthen the skin & the hair. also, you should make sure there aren't any medical reasons...especially if it has always been heatlhy, and then changed. my hair is weak, & try to take vitamins when i remember to.
