I often get a runny nose when I'm out for a run, but usually only in Winter.
Is the air con in your gym quite cold?

Exercise does make you snotty though, that's why footballers are always hawking up phlegm and spitting.

This is normal...i get this a lot when I go out for a run every morning...so I always carry some pocket tissues, so that I can blow my nose during my breaks...

Hey! Beats having to lick it ;-)

Exercising thins out your body fluids, in my non-medical experience. That happens to me too, esp if I was congested. Just keep a towel or tissues with you.
