I had stomach surgery after a car accident and was left with a scar down my abdoman. I am having the scar removed by a very respected plastic surgeon who said he can greatly improve the look of the scar.
Has anybody had plastic surgery to remove a scar or know of anybody that has.
What should I expect? I know what the doctor says but I was looking for some "real person" experience.

the government will fund alcoholics and drug addicts when they're coming off whatever their habit is, so does that mean that if I go to my doctor and tell him I'm addicted to chips he will prescribe me chips for the rest of my life? I think he should.

Got **beautiful** sterling silver chain--to mid-collarbone. Wore it 24/7 (from special someone, & there's special meaning behind this) for few days, but began itching & scratching.

No oozing, no skin breaks or lesions EXCEPT scratching-related redness & some "leathering" from scratching; better with couple days off & zinc oxide. Irritation most significant on sides of neck, where chain drops against collarbones. NOT a symmetrical ring around neck & minimal problem at back of neck, so it's NOT present in ALL skin in close contact w/chain.

Chain is very heavy links, almost masculine-looking, with faceted links. No known allergies. Once had allegedly "hypoallergenic" chain cause sim. itching/leathering.

Can sterling cause contact dermatitis, or is this maybe a mechanical dermatitis secondary to faceting? And does anyone know a way to toughen up skin, so I can keep wearing chain, pref 24/7? DON'T want to have to ask for a return on this special gift.

I am in my lower thirties and had been celebate for 6 years prior to recently getting married 1 year ago. I initially did not have this problem, but for the past several months, I have not been able to feel anything when I am having sex. Will I the sensivity ever return? Should I just see a doctor? ok, this will be like a 3 part question in intrest of saving points lol. I know I've asked this before, but still yet 1. Does anyone know the best way to lose about 100 pounds or more? 2. Does anyone have any sucess stories they can share...it makes me feel as though i can acomplish it if someone else has lol. 3. it took 3 visits over a few weeks to complete my root canal...and it still hurts. It's not abscess or nerve pain, it's different. They filled it on Wednesday, and it hasn't stopped throbbing. It's a dull throbbing, but a throbbing none-the-less. There is also a very strange kind of pain up near the apex, like there is a foreign object inside my gums. Almost like someone is sticking me with a needle. I can't smile or move my upper lip to far without this awful stabbing sensation. I'm *REALLY* sick of being in this kind of pain in the front of my mouth. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE!!! I called the dentist yesterday (only 1 day after finishing the root canal) and he said it needs time to quiet down, because of all the trauma (years of hard clenching and grinding) it may take a while to heal. He said to wait until Monday or Tuesday, and if it still hurts to call back. Has anyone had any experience like this, what would be causing that stabbing needle-like pain??? Please help...

i went to the doctors this week and got the contraceptive pill...then after reading all the bumf i decided not to go on it..also as im away in nyc in 2 weeks and the ttime difference is 5hrs..and i know what im like i will likely **** it all up!!....so then i was going to go on the depo injection..hm..which i have been on before but it put on loads of weight and made me moody....condoms suck!!.and thats how i conceived my first child!!lol..so what the hell else can i use.......need to know sharpish...and going away on 17th any help would be greatttt! thanks
