Not because I'm bulemic or anything, but jsut wondering, because sometimes my stomach hurts and if i throwup then i feel better, and my stomach hurts right now, so i wanna throw up.

btw, finger down the throat doesnt work for me

Can someone help me understand the mechanisms by which pain signals travel from the site of injury to the various parts of the brain. And also the role of the descending pathways that help to mediate pain. And finally the gate theory of pain proposed by Melzack and Wall.

I sort of understand bits and bobs of the physiological mechanisms of pain but I am finding it difficult to put it all together to understand it in logical and coherent manner.

My kids don't want to eat most vegetables. I give them chewable vitamins, but was wondering if anyone knew of a good nutritional supplement that I could mix into some foods they do eat. It would have to be a smooth powder or liquid that I could mix into macaroni and cheese or pancakes, etc.

the day after drinking i am constntly vomiting,even if i wasnt very drunk. Im sick to the point that there is nothing left to bring up, jut stomach lining. sometimes it can last 2 days: obivious answer'dont drink'. but im just wondering why this happens? its only started in the last 6 months. I have a reddish rash under my eyes. I haven't changed anything (like food, makeup, moisturizer, body soap, detergent). It is swollen and painful. Other than cucumber, tea bags and an antihistamine, what else can solve and prevent this? What causes it?

After two weeks of blood sugars being over 200 and learning to adjust to insulin and starving myself and tears and frustration I came home from work and tested my sugars and I am at 85. Im writing my final matric exams now. I think i study really hard, but then i feel like the exam is bad. Yesterday i wrote business economics and i left out 60 marks.

I had and still do hope that i get a B average for Business, but im really worried that i wont. The worst part is i won't know till afrter christmas.

How can i cope if i dont get a B, because i know i will go into depression. Please help

I have no interest in surgery, but I am often embarassed about my chest size. My breasts are bigger than all of my friends and they never let me forget it. can rinsing your mouth out with salt water several times a day give you a soar throat? I just had some teeth pulled and my dentist told me to do that so I have been and now my throat is very red and feels raw and soar.

I'm on my 3rd day of clomid and i'm having shortness of breath and palpitations. does anyone know why i'm feeling this way. i'm definitely sure it's the clomid as i don't take anything else and i'm not doing anything differently. thanks for any help.

I keep getting nose bleeds. I do not pick my nose or hit my nose on anything, it will just randomly start bleeding. I think it might be caused by dryness.

My mom was diagnosed with MRSA of the sputum as well as pneumonia. She most likely came in contact with the MRSA while caring for my dad who had open sores on his feet that would not heal. My dad did not know at the time he had MRSA. He also has an active skin infection containing MRSA right now. Are there things we need to do to their home to sterilize and assure that she does not become recontaminated by MRSA from what she has touched and couphed on at home? Also, should she use the shampoos and creams to make sure she does not have any on her skin? She is currently taking vancomyocin. She is currently in the hospital for treatment. Should my dad be treated with the shampoos and creams since he has had two infections with MRSA in the last 3 months? He is currently on an antibiotic but I don't know the name. Thanks!!!

My wife recently left me after 24 years of marriage. She had become addicted to meditation spending 6 to 8 hours in deep meditation each day. She became a different person and didn't seem to be able to relate on an emotional level. It was like she was drugged or flattened in personality. She was also trying to channel information from her higher self and my fear is that she may have gone too far and become mentally ill. Now she is cut off from me and our daughter.Can meditation have a down side?
