Rash,swelling and irritation on under eye area, not dark circles, what to do?

I have a reddish rash under my eyes. I haven't changed anything (like food, makeup, moisturizer, body soap, detergent). It is swollen and painful. Other than cucumber, tea bags and an antihistamine, what else can solve and prevent this? What causes it?

if you DEFINITELY haven't changed any of those things, i can't imagine what it could possibly be. unless some new ingredient was added to your regular moisturizer and you didn't realize it. (this has been known to happen) have you recently started a new container of your same moisturizer?

in any case, i would see a doctor.
