I would recommend consulting a doctor before you do anything drastic to your dietary pattern but...
Counting Calories...make sure and cut down your caloric intake from your usual diet. I would eat lots of lean meats. Turkey sandwiches with mustard (0 cals.) on wheat low-calorie bread. Also a whole grain or rice cake cereal such as weight watchers brand for breakfast is great. A great alternative to dinners are lean cuisines. You have to eat. You just have to eat the right stuff and in moderation.
Vigourous Excersice...get out there and bust your hide excercising. Do 45-60 minutes on the eliptical machine and a brisk 1-2 mile jog every day. Do pushups and situps while watching t.v. be active. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park a little further than your normal spot and walk.
Rest and Rehidration...
Drink lots of water. I mean lots of water. You should be going to the bathroom 10 times a day. Get up early, stretch, go for a walk. Go to sleep early. Get 8-10 hours of sleep.
I'm not a doctor, nor qualified to give this advice, but I know that it will make you feel better and it may not be 7 days but you will notice soon.

I lost 8 lbs my first week of weight watchers. Crunches help tighten your abs. Also weight watchers gave out exercise books at the meetings. Their plan is very flexible and I've lost over 30 lbs in about 4 months.

It's recommend 1-2 pounds a week and doing sit-ups etc can tighten those muscles. At the moment I can't think of the name of the exercises but I'm sure if you research abdominal exercises on the web you would get a lot of information of what to do to tighten them and chose the ones that will work best for you

This question was meant for me :) It is called t-tapp. Buy the DVD. My DOCTOR recommended it to me. In seven days I lost 1 inch off my hip and waist. I lost @ inches off my abdominal area. I lost an 1 and a half on both thighs. My rear looks amazing. My body completely changed in 7 days. I had to go buy new clothes. It was amazing. If in doubt try her freebie exercises on her website. But it sounds like you want results now so I would just buy the DVD. I have been writing about this all day because I just can't keep this secret to myself. Good luck. By the way I didn't even change my eating habits :)

You won't see results in 7 days.
To SEE results you'll have to keep EXERCISING and EATING RIGHT for 3+ weeks. Before that you aren't going to see anything.
How long did it take you to put on the weight? Well, it's going to take even longer to take off.
Tighten up the abs--do pilates.

Healthy weight loss? 7-10 lbs, depending on your current weight.
Sit ups and push ups are gfreat and don't require any equipment.
If you're desperate to lose weight, cut off an arm. =)

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
