have the same problem and if so, what do you do about it because I never craved sweets until my doctor put me on diabetic medication and told me I had diabetes when I only had a 160 one morning. I know that is not good but is more hyperglycemic. Could the medication have made me develop diabetes? Please help. I would like to see those of us with diabetes form a diabetics anonymous group.

im doing like what someone said and posting again but i dont go to school im kinda illegally dropped out till november then i turn 16 and in january im going to a bootcamp for 5 months and they said stay out of school till then so i dont have a teacher to ask and as family my grandma knows its going on and thinks her son can do no wrong and dad's brother lives with her and is the same way and grandpa was that way so she doesnt think its bad and all the family knows and family friends know and wont do anything about it really they say call the cops and year before last i told a teacher about it and made a police report and i dont know what the cops did after that but ive made 3 police reports for it and i dont want to call protective services because i have a 7yr old sister i dont want to get seperated from her shes like my life

I am not asking for the quickest.No low carb solutions.But what is a diet that isn't too hard to follow where i can still eat fruits and veggies and chicken?And drink coffee with non dairy creamer at least 6 cups a day.I have 4 kids.Coffee counts more than cigarettes!

I am a 19 year old in her sophomore year of college. I am in the very challenging pre-pharmacy curriculum. I have not had a period since July, and I have become very moody. I have snapped at my friends and I am no longer happy and peppy. I am also not wanting to eat or be nice. I am constantly wanting to sleep and not get out of bed. I am also taking a very hard course load and I study a lot and wind up making B or Cs instead of A's and I am not sure why. I was wondering if I may have a hormone imbalence, or may be depression. I am not sure what is wrong, but whatever it is, I need to seek help.

I was told to check with the doctor's office if I hadn't heard from them by Monday, Today is Tuesday & I called them this afternoon but they never called back with the results. I would assume that if I have cancer, they'd have gotten back to me asap. Does anybody know if I'm I correct in thinking this?

What does everyone think about immunizations?

I know that a lot of parents are against immunizations, because they fear a connection with autism and other things. However, there have been studies on this that show no connection between the two. And I know that every once in a while a child might have a bad reaction to a vaccine.

But isn't it better that we protect against diseases that are far worse than getting a shot?

There are 20 states that allow parents to sign a waiver for philosophical reasons so their children can attend school without vaccinations. This is partially because these children can act as "free riders", depending on the other children that have gotten immunized. (how can they catch a disease that isn't there?)

But, what if more and more children came to school without being immunized? Would this make our Immunization plan worthless? Wouldn't we see a rise in some diseases we have worked so hard to rid ourselves of?

For some reason my urine smells like I'm taking an antibiotic or am ingesting large amounts of viatamins when I don't believe I am. It's got that sort of strong, metallic smell. I know this isn't the nicest thing to read, but it has me worried. Anybody know what might be causing this?

my parents both use meth and weed and other drugs they very rarely work and if their not working their eating all the food or sleeping making me work on the house, cars, do laundry, dishes, everything they want me to do i do it but dad has been in jail 3 times for drugs ive called the cops on him and the cops came out and said they believed him and mom that they didnt and left and i got a gun pulled on me for "snitching" on them and dad goes around screaming at the top of his lungs throwing things all the time and i dont know what to do im trying to keep from cutting more (i used to cut since 4th grade im in 10th now and stopped last april) but im trying to keep from cutting or smokeing more or running away or something and dont know what do to because i explained to the cops about everything and told them everything i knew and where everything was and they didnt do anything and im seriousallly out of ideas help me please and thanks
