I know a lady that was in a coma for several months. She told me it was very frustrating because she could hear people talking about her like she wasn't there and yet she couldn't move or even open her eyes to let them know she was hearing them. So if you ever visit a person in a coma, talk to them, not about them.

One of the person who was in coma for about 25 days on being asked as to what did he experience, this was his experience.
He was taken into the sky and finally to hell where everything was burning giving a very scary and horrible sign.
Perhaps he was trying to get popularity by lieing. Had he really experienced the above scene,he would have become a pious man but I find him doing the same thing earning wrath of the relatives and friends and neibours. I feel nobody knows what one experiences during coma.

this depends on the individual person and how deep the coma is...

some patients can hear what is going on around them (people talking, machines beeping, etc) but are unable to open their eyes or speak

others experience a dreamlike state just like you would when you fall asleep and have a dream.

I had a heart attack and died on the table, was out for sometime later.
When I woke I was upset they brought me back and went through therapy for guilt feelings.
It's something that can't be explained here, it's very enlightening and a devotional feeling. I think you change.

imagine the deepest sleep you've ever had - thats what coma is supposed to be like, except u never (or rarely) wake up. and when/if u do, it feels like no time has passed when it might have been 15 years..

Well being that none of us have or are not currently in one now, How are we supposed to answer that?
My votes for Euro Disney... they dream of all the fun pastel colors, it scares most of them so much, they wake up!

At times it may seem to them like they are in another world! There may be other times when they are very aware of what is going on around them!
