For some reason my urine smells like I'm taking an antibiotic or am ingesting large amounts of viatamins when I don't believe I am. It's got that sort of strong, metallic smell. I know this isn't the nicest thing to read, but it has me worried. Anybody know what might be causing this?

I'm not on a low carb diet. The only change that I made is that I started eating bananas, though I haven't had one in about 36 hours. I also drink orange juice and cranberry juice, but because I have mild hypertension, I don't drink soda anymore - or at least caffeinated soda. Basically, I ingest more vitamins now than I used to, but this smell is a very recent occurrence.

Take large megadoses of vitamin C. this may help to change the smell. Or otherwise, drink liquid concentrate of chlorophyll 3 tablespoons mixed with cold water. 3x daily. This will deodorize your urinary tract. Try it & see. It doesn't taste bad. Not expensive, but be sure to buy PURE chlorophyll liquid, with NO FLAVOR of mint, etc. (WorldOrganics label)
