So I came home from this marching competition to find a lump on the right side of my neck. I rubbed it and it went down but now its sore and still there but smaller. Its not bothering me in any other way...

could it be something serious? Should I see a doc? Could it be allergies? Its under the skin pretty much in line with my ear

dont tell me it's something psychological whatsoever... everyone (including my bf, mom and friends) tell me im out of shape and that im fat... i do... i honestly do... here's my stat : 33-25-35... anyway, my legs and arms are huge... i used to be model-skinny and now, i look gross... help! what should i do? I just married Aug 19th and since then my work is now trying to dictate my life they knew when i was hired that i have limitations and will be needing to take my wife to the docs alot and for my self also as we both have medical issues, my wife cant work and im not supposed to be working full time, well as is im a volunteer Firefighter too, so the delivery place i work for has more or less told me i should get a divorce and quit the fire dept and devote all my time to Domino's whooops i slipp on the name lol, yes im a driver and working 48 hrs plus a week for tips and small wage of 5.15 an hour which now i will only be solely on tips cause base wage will be takin away due to new policy going into effect. So what should i do stay and take the abuse or just quit and see where the road goes from there.

Okay so i keep on debating going for a physical with my family doctor! I need to talk to her about the anixiety attacks that i have been having. Should I do that before or after the exam? Can i talk to her about not doing a pelvic exam ? I know its for my benefit but i dont think i could do it. and what will she do other then a pelvic exam? ... Quickly for the breast exam are you covered up for it or are you flat out open (in a sense) Please help calm me down.

Well, two days ago my mom gave my family the worst news we could ever hear. She informed us that she had a serious brain tumor called Pontine. We've done a lot of research on the web about it. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone with it or any important facts?! Its a rare tumors for adults, mostly in children below 16! And my second question is, how can i cope with it? I can't sleep, I cry all the time....the first day we found out we couldn't even look at her without crying, but today she's been cracking jokes saying shes dying and telling my dad not to get another girlfriend and stuff like that. It hurts when she makes comments like that, she knows it does. I usually just end up walking out of the room! The thing that scares me the most is that she won't be there to see my 9 year old brother grow up or see us 4 girls get married! We know this tumor is serious because it is in the center of the brain. Therefore it not being localized we dont think they can do surgrey! Help me!

I have a fiance whose aunt is a hypochondriac. I am wondering to what length her aunt will go to "prove that she is dying of cancer". There is a family emergency out in california (we live in ohio) because her aunt is dying of cancer and can't speak or talk. Would a hypochondriac have someone call her family presenting as a doctor saying that she was on her death bed?
