Why does my son's nose alway start to leak/ run during his soccer game, but is fine right before the game. Does running cause nasal drainage or could he just have allergies?

It might be allergies, maybe they get worse when he runs around. Some allergies are quite serious though, so you really should get him to a doctor to get tested and find out if he's in any danger. Good luck!

Yeah, I get a runny nose when I excersise. I am fine normally though. I think its just your body heating up then it might be cold. I dont know how to explain it. But there is nothing wrong with your son. But just to make sure I suggest getting an allergy test done.

Allergy has psychological predisposition. Could be due to stress. Suggest he take a non- sedating antihistamine like ceterizine or loratidine before the game.
