Health - 11 October 2006

I have a spot on my right leg, above the knee and about 10 or 11 inches in length, that always has a bit of a numb feeling in it. It is just slightly off-center to the right. Some days more so than others. However, sometimes it starts burning, all by itself. It feels like I'd spilled lighter fluid on it. One time, it was so bad, it woke me out of a sound sleep. Felt like it was on fire. It generally happens about 4 to 6 times a month, and the circumstances are different (could be working, walking, sitting still, sleeping, etc.). Any idea what can cause this? Thanks...

ok...so I know that dietary fiber is basically what keeps you fuller longer...but i've looked at some meal replacement bars lately and they are so-so on fiber but high in protein..which should i look for? I know both would be ideal but if one had to pick either, high fiber or high protein?

I had a rectal abscess lanced and packed yesterday,but was not told what kind of infection it is.
I am on Percoset for pain,and 2 different antibiotics (Flagyl and Levaquin)My Dr. is off today.
I am worried--I have children.
If there is anyone in the medical field out there,please shed some light on this for me.Thank you.

Hi, I have anxiety and depression. I have started taking 25 mg of Zoloft today at 9:30. I have had the following side effects . .diarhea, and head fogginess (maybe a little anxious but thats pretty normal for me right now). The thing Im most concerned about is my pupils are enlarged. What does this mean and is it serious or normal? Will my side effects get worse than this or better?

I have been married for 10 years. Our marriage has been rough, and my wife met another man, she swore it was not sexual, but continued to see him off and on for 2 years. I went to Asia last year I notice alot of people there put Vicks Vapor Rub on their feet, I ask my dad why they did that, he said it kills
athletic feet, fungi, and foot odor. I had a small patch on my right foot that I tried for 3 yrs to get rid of. When I returned, I put the Vicks Vapor Rub on the area for about month, it disappeared.

because she tried to tell me about myself, im in a rut with my depression where i cant do anything, ive got no energy to do anything, not even pick anythin up from my no carpeted floor, im livin in a small flat which i hate, im stayin up all night not gettin any sleep then sleepin through the whole day, waking up in the evening, my mum tried to tell me to get a grip and help myself, and ive just shouted at her really aggressively sayin its really hard to just gett a grip. i wanna move out of here but cant see me doing so, i feel trapped, its a noisy rough area i live in. i honestly dont no how long i can keep it together for sometimes. and no. im not gonna turn myself in to a hospital. for anyone who tries to suggest it. my moods swing badly, i feel empty and low horrendous, when i go out i feel panicky, angry, paranoid, i have spinnin thoughts and very low self esteem, i stuggle to get a grip..this has been goin on for 15 years im 29, i dont have a life, i want a life, f**k !!

I had a miscarrige in March and was devastated. I have been trying for a baby since and on Sep 10th 06 took my period on 24th Sep 06 i ovulated and on the 29th Sept had a light bleed for day or 2. This did not look like a normal period/implantaton bleeding? I was afraid this ws a normal period.


I would have been due to take perod again on the 8th Oct 06 though it has still not arrived. I have cramps in stomach as if period going to arrive, though hope not. Done preg test 10th Oct 06 though it was negative.

Does anybody have any words of advice. Disheartened by negative home test.

Deperately needing some advice please.

I'm a male,17, and have these small pimple like things under my arm bit and they hurt bad, like a volcanoe bursting!! Is this some sort of thing I highly need to worry about? I don't have them under my other arm, so I don't think I'm allergic to my deoderant. I just got them over night on 10/10/06. Thanks
