With my last menstruation, I gained over 8 pounds overnight due to water weight. Something was up this last time because I had horrible PMS and insatiable hunger to boot. I went to the doctor worried that the weight gain was caused by another Rx, but she said that such a quick weight gain would be water weight. It sounded like I need to change the Pill I'm on, which she did, and she also gave me a Rx diuretic. Anyway, I've been through with menstruating for almost two weeks and four of the pounds have still not budged. Is it possible the weight is something else? If it is water weight, how do I get rid of it if the diuretics aren't doing it? (PS My weight has stayed the same to the pound for 8+ months so this sudden gain is a concern.)
