getting to know some one, or just chatt from time to time but you really like this person and they know you do, yet they like to tease you by insinuating something when they talk and get you all confused.

i think because you really like them, it is clouding your thoughts. Are you sure that they arent treating you like they do with everyone else? Maybe you should give a bigger hint, but not too big cuz that could push them away further. At least you know they have a life, and don't sit on the couch all day "purposly" avoiding you.

Well sometimes the truth hurts, maybe this person was uncomfortable after he/she found out you were interested and didn't know how to really confront you. Or just maybe this person likes you as well, but is going through something right now and can't really give you the right attention that he/she wants to. However, whatever the situation may be, you wont really know unless you ask. That is whenever you get back in touch!

You take things too seriously, my friend. Talk and email other people also. The person you like obviously, is very busy, don't just wait to hear from her and worry about the things she says. She probably doesn't give what she says a second thought.

Well, sometimes people that know they are loved (or liked), really enjoy the attention you give and they enjoy the fact that somebody "likes them" I guarantee if you move on and this person finds out you like someone else, they will be jealous. Its just nice sometimes to flirt and know that somebody cares, but they dont want anything serious.

They act that way but they don't really care at all, If they did, they wouldn't do that.
