I don't think you need to stay in bed. Rest is a good idea, usually 1 day for each pair of teeth pulled. So if you get all 4 done, I would say two days of rest...but that doesn't mean you are bed ridden, just to take it easy away from work or school.

Well it would depend on how much pain you're having. There is no real set time you have to stay in bed. I had three wisdom teeth cut out, and (like a dummy) went out that night. After a couple of days I was fine. But again, it's different from one person to the next.

There is no set rule. If you on pain pills then you may want to stay in and not drive.
It's up to you how you feel and it depends on how many teeth they took. Four, then you may feel like resting until you feel up to some activity.
If you only had one or two, then you probably will feel OK.
Sometimes you have to watch out for infection on the bottom wisdom area due to impaction, then call your doctor and he will have to drain it.
I had all four removed and was in bed for a week because of the heavy pain pills and impaction on both bottom wisdom's. This was many many years ago and I believe the technology has improved.

At least 6 to 8 months... And you should have a couple of really hot nurses to give you daily sponge baths and..... OH.. wait, I was dreaming for a moment, nah, you don't need bed rest unless they removed your jaw to get to the annoying wisdom teeth.

My face was sore the first day so I didn't want to do anything but stay in bed and watch tv but after that I was fine. (The drugs were good too) I was never told to stay in bed at all and I had to see an Oral Surgeon to have mine removed.

Only if you have had a reaction to the anesthesia or an unexpected blood loss should you have to be thinking of any "bed rest". I had three of mine pulled at the same time and I went on about my routine with no further break in it. I've known people who have had to have theirs surgically removed and they have done everything from resuming their routine with a slight headache to having to rest for the afternoon because of a reaction to the anesthesia. Your dentist will advise you if you need to or not.

Never heard of anyone being confined to bed for this. You just don't want to do anything that raises your blood pressure to make sure the clot in the socket stays secure.
As long as you're still, like watching TV, you should be fine, I would think.

It all depends on the person. I had a hard time with mine and I was down for a good week or so. Other people have it much easier and maybe just need a few hours to a day before they are feeling OK. You might want to ask your dentist how difficult he/she thinks the procedure will be.

It varies. I had three wisdom teeth removed and washed my car that afternoon. From my limited experience, the problem was the anesthesia, not the extraction.
