Sadly no. In fact being Stressed causes certain people to to seek high carb foods which release more Serotonin from the brain and gives a sense of comfort.

Tight muscles and rapid heartbeat are indicative of the Sympathetic Nervous system (our Fight or Flight response) being engaged. When we're in 'Fight or Flight', we don't process food as well, and the body will tend to store more because it's in defence...so we actually gain weight.

That's why Sleep of all things is linked with lower Obesity rates. Sleep those pounds away!

Nope, Im pretty sure stress doesnt work that way, it doesnt make you fat (at least Im not sure if it makes you fat) My 20-year-old sister has to deal with alot of stress since shes married and has a kid on the way, and blah blah blah her life problems anyway, It doesnt make you fat nor skinny it keeps you normal but if your in alot of stress you might want to eat more, Or not eat at all making you skinnier. It just depends on how you handle it.

Actually, stress makes your body hold fat in your stomach and butt area. Not good at all!
