Some flu's last longer than others. Stay hydrated. Try to eat well so you have fuel for energy. If the medicine is not helping with the sore throat and cough, it could be something you need to seek treatment for like Bronchitis or Strep. How many days has it been? I have had colds and flu's that lasted well over a week.

If you have a virus like a cold then you really cant get rid of it and you just have to wait it out the medicine only makes it bearable. Us a humidifier for your soar throat and cough. Vicks vapors works well for my son. Also if you have a dry cough and you have crap in ur lungs get a medicine with expectorant in it. robitussin has one. Also take your vitamins and drink a lot and lot of fluids the more you drink the sooner you will get better. take vitamin C pills or chews and only take the recomended dose on the bottle. for a soar throat get cloraseptic spray or throat lozenges. But not if you are pregnant. Dont ever take lozanges if you are pregnant it will say so on the package too. tea with lemon and honey will help headaches and stuff nose and your throat and your cough. if it lasts more than 1 week and a half then go to the doctors it could be something else.

if its occurred four occasions in as many days then certainly there may be some thing SERIOUSLY unsuitable. individuals do not simply faint four days in a row for no well intent. i cannot think you cannot get into your drs for an extra week! did you inform them whats been going down and they do not consider its that main or what? traditionally if i've an on the spot difficulty like a sinus contamination they may be able to get me in with in an afternoon or 2. drs quite often preserve a couple of time slots on a daily basis to squeeze in unforeseen sufferers. i simply cannot think together with your signs they cannot manipulate to get you in for per week. screw the dr. in the event you faint once more earlier to the appointment i would just name 911 cuz you can get an entire paintings up on the ER and discover out whats happening so much quicker than looking forward to your drs appointment. and except in case your dr is something like mine they're going to simply inform you to visit the ER and may not do any assessments themselves anyhow.

Oh yes I agree that you should definitely consult your doctor! But in the mean time, drink lots of fluids, like; orange juice, cranberry juice, hot tea ( preferably herb teas), plenty of water, and hot milk. Also exercise, when you exercise it sweats the cold out, and when you go to bed, sleep with a humidifier ( it helps you to breathe). The flu can get serious, so please get in touch with your doctor, and you do want to get at least 10 hours of sleep until you are feeling better again. It's getting cold again, so when you go out make sure you keep your chest covered. Good luck, and I hope you get better.

You must see your doctor first and have rest
because the human body has the power
to heal itself if you give it the chance.
