Last week I was diagnoised with type II diabetes. I weighed in at 267 pounds. My glucose reading was 230 (normal is 107 or below). Since then I've cut out sugar completely as well as carbs. It will be a little over week tomorrow and my weight is at 252, my sugar count has gone down dramatically. for example, today before dinner it was 108, 2 hrs after it was 128. It's getting lower. I haven't started the blood sugar medication my dr. put me on because I'm afraid it will make it go down really low. Am I really diabetic? My A1C was at a 9.7, normal is below 7. On my present course of weight loss and diet and judging from what I've wrote here, do you think it's possible to reverse the diabetes type II condition? and should i take the medication with the numbers I've mentioned here?

Look at how fast these questions are presented on this site. There is almost no chance of getting an educated and or sincere answer especially from a variety of people.
In addition, there are always the jerks who try being jerks by giving unhelpful smart remarks that they consider an answer.
Think about it. It is like video game to try to get to the next level.
If you really want to have legitimate answers, then use the net to research your question.
I joined this site a few days ago, and quickly realized how much a waste of time that it is.
I am now trying to make others aware of this also.

My scale says I weigh 186 pound but I look pretty slim and am not obese. I walk alot and exercise. Does this mean my muscles are growing since I feel my muscles when I walk. I average 12-14 miles a day. Whenever I do a 6 mile walk I don't feel tired and I can usually do another 1-2 mies after a 30 minute break. I am not out of breath on hills. Does this mean I'm fit or overweight?

hi, is it normal to have frequent headaches? i normally have it on the right side of my head and it feels like someone's pushing at it or sticking a needle in it... but sometimes it changes its position... i told my doctor about it and she told me that it may be probably due from stress (i'm in the honor's section and you can just imagine the pressure).. and lately i've been irritated with someone... do i have brain cancer? i've read that these are some of the symptoms (headaches and irritability)..

I have dropped 35 pounds this year and I am getting to close to where my weight should be (about 15 pounds off). I feel healthier, and I look worlds better then I did, but I am kinda concerned because the only thing that hasn't changed are these lovehandles. Why won't they go away? I have been dieting properly and I do cardio 5 days a week. So where am I wrong? Do I need to switch from cardio to weight training? And if so what kind of weight training? Or is this a patience thing and I should keep doing what I am doing and they will go away eventually? Thanks for the advice...

I have, take it on a dry mouth, dont put it in liquids. Couple of teaspons every couple of hours works wonders. With small cuts, grazes etc. spread over wound and cover so no air can get in, leave for a day, Miraculous!!!

There's this spot on the side of my head. When I press on it, it hurts. and even when I don't touch it, i can feel the symptom. like its stuck on my head. like some kind pulse feeling. like it won't go away. its only that spot where it hurts. ummm what should I do? and what is wrong? any comments thank you.

Hello. I got a UTI around two weeks ago, i've had quite a few so I knew it was UTI. The same day i started taking antibiotics for UTI i got on the patch (Ortho Evra). About a week ago i started experiencing some intching, and figured it was one of the side-effects from the patch.So now i took off the patch for side-effects reasons, and i'm stuck with itching, pain when peeing, blood when peeing, and cottage cheese discharge. I'm pretty sure i have both, but how am i supposed to treat them if the medicine for UTI will only make my yeast infection worse. and can I treat both at the same time? ahh so confusing. please help

Is it just me or has someone else noticed this- Temperature effects your sperm? - right in colder parts of the country theres more girls being born then boys & in the hotter parts or the country theres more boys then girls being born. I was trying to get two nails out of my steel frame in my basment because they were pointing down and anyone could of jumped up and hit the nail and get it jabed into there head.

Anyway, after I took them out I went to pick one up and it pricked me and blood came out. It was like a prick form one of the blood sugar test people with DB use to test with. I washed it with soap and water then put a bandaid on it. Its not held but can still see dead skin over the small hole and little black stuff?

Anyway On saturday night I got the chills, and my joints are really stiff elbos and nees ect. also my mussels feel werid.

I'm going in toamrrow/ next day to get my shot for Tetanus . I was wondering if this is too late to do anygood if I have it? Also, Does the Bosster shot prevent it from furthering and heals me from it.
