I have dropped 35 pounds this year and I am getting to close to where my weight should be (about 15 pounds off). I feel healthier, and I look worlds better then I did, but I am kinda concerned because the only thing that hasn't changed are these lovehandles. Why won't they go away? I have been dieting properly and I do cardio 5 days a week. So where am I wrong? Do I need to switch from cardio to weight training? And if so what kind of weight training? Or is this a patience thing and I should keep doing what I am doing and they will go away eventually? Thanks for the advice...

You also need to do stretching exercises for the abdomen and lower spine.

And you need to do 3 or 4 sets of 25 situps a day, every day. Ugh!

Less simple carbs. More protein. Weight lift and use a heart rate monitor during cardio. If you can comfortably carry on a conversation while doing cardio that is the intensity you want. Add interval training to your carido routine and increase the amount of time you do cardio. Love handles are the hardest thing to loose on men. That is the area where we store most of our fat. Keep up the good work and be patient.

Stay with the cardio and try weight assisted ab exercises to bring out the ab muscles. I would recommend a fat burner as well. Additionally twisting type ab exercises will help. check out Bodybuilding.com they have a ton of good info on their website that will benefit you.

Weight training is good. Doing some crunches will help your abs fill in your tummy. But I would expect you to always have some loose skin there. Skin does not stretch back to its original shape.
