salt is basically salt wherever u get it from. its still sodium when it gets in your body so the effect is exactly the same.

Sea salt is slightly better for you than regular salt, but let's face it, salt is salt.
It does indeed contain trace minerals, but not enough to make up a significant part of your diet (assuming you aren't eating tons of it). You also don't get Iodine from sea salt unless it has been fortified.
Some people prefer the taste and texture of sea salt over regular salt.
Ultimately, though, don't kid yourself into thinking that sea salt is that much superior to regular salt... it's more or less just salt.

All salts are basically the same NaCl and we don't need but a fraction of what we get that is already in the prepackaged foods that we buy. Almost every thing you buy ready made has salt added so you don't need to add salt to any thing. You're already getting too much.

It's true because it has more minerals, calcium and potassium in it. However, you still need to use it with moderation because too much salt, where seasalt or regular salt is bad for your health. You can get highblood pressure, etc.
