I am 23. A few months ago I got a UTI, and since I don't have insurance I tried some over-the-counter meds first. I took AZO Standard, and it worked in a day or two. Ever since then I've been getting UTI symptoms about once a month. They are rarely painful, and they ususally go away when I take the AZO, but they are still pretty uncomfortable. I am very careful about heading to the bathroom after sex and drinking plenty of water, so I don't know what is going on. Why might I be having these symptoms so frequently? Is it possible that they are all related to the original infection?
