well, check the active ingredient; usually you CAN get in an oral version. Suppositories are made to dissolve in the heat of the rectum and release the med & absorbe through the mucous membranes into the bloodstream. If you swallow it, it will be in the stomach acid and not a lot will happen.
There are basically 2 reasons to use suppositories. One, you need systemic absorption & can't take orally. Two, want local effect in the rectum & not so much the rest of the gut.

Believe it or not, there are doctors who have prescribed suppositories orally. It is not common, but I have heard of it (mostly with vagina suppositories for yeast infections or some such). Believe me, you would rather have it the way it was intended rather than have to suck on the foul thing for I don't know how long.
Peace!

try putting mustard on them. it helps with the flavor. it would just be like a regular pill. der. you have to keep suppositories cold or frozen so it's not like it would squish around in your mouth.

You didn't say which type of suppository it would be.
Some might make you sick, others might not. Either way I don't think it would be advisable.

Forgive me. I'm sorry I can't take your question seriously. But when I read your question, I can't help myself. My first response is:
Your mouth becomes your A**hole!
