I'm a 23 year old male and I weigh about 144 Ibs. I look really skinny, so I just recently started doing about 200 pushups a day to bulk up. I've only been doing it for like 2 weeks, but I still look terribly skinny. What can I do to fix this?!

He lives with OLD grandparents alone. He sneaks out to play and doesnt care about med times ect. which tells me he is in denial. Grams told me about disease not him...also denial. He obviously is uncomfortable disclosing his illness. His grams would like me to discuss with him so I can make sure I assist with knowing his med times ect so to send him home if needed. I also want to help this sweet boy as much as possible to enjoy his childhood. I will know his med times ect but how do I deal emotionally as I will also need to inform my child and prepare him for what may come sooner than later. I want to be a sort of surrogate mom so he can be the YOUNG KID that he is and yet be informed enough to ease fears of the grandparents so that we can have sleepovers ect. I need all the help I can get with getting him to communicate and open up and accept and take responsiblity for his own health and to let him know we love him and will always be here. Please help me!

I took a Claritin at about 10:30 this morning. Can I take a Benadryl or 2 now? They are both antihistamines, but different kinds. Please don't just say yes or no, but how you know. Thanks.

Don't say take pamprin, or anything female related. I am talking a non-hormonal bad day. A day when you want to punch your boss in the face b/c you don't know how she got to where she is by being so stupid. A day where you have to repeat to your fiance 10-20 times everything you say. I mean a BAD day!
What do you do to unwind? Let go of the stress and the pain? What do you do to let it all go and put it behind you, because we all know letting it eat on you is unhealthy? How do you keep your self from gouging your eyes out when people make crappy/mean comments or bring them to task on it, (because they are your co-workers and you could lose your job for doing what you really want... like kicking them really hard in the shins.)

What do you do to alleviate stress, and get over a bad day so you can face the next with a smile?

I'm not exaclty skinny but I'm not over weight either, I wouldn't call myself anything like an exercise zealot but I try to run whenever i can. Whats wrong? I get random shoots of pain in my arms and shoulders and joints as well- is this normal? If not, will a simple diet and regular exercise fix it?

My boyfriend recently started taking Claritin-D to help with his allergies to dust mites, mold spores and pet dander. While regular Claritin seems to work on his burning eyes and difficulty breathing, it doesn't help with congestion. He started taking Claritin-D to combat all his symptoms, but is discouraged by the price. His doctor is resistant to write a prescription because it is now sold over the counter. He's hoping to switch to a Singulair prescription or something similar so that it is covered by insurance, but is afraid that it won't help with his congestion. Does anyone know if Singulair works as a decongestant as well? If not, what does? Thanks!
