Is it true that baking soda can help reduce period smell better than wipes?

When I get my period every 2 weeks it really smells and taste really bad. I was told that if i throw baking soda on my noony that it will reduce the smell and help break down the large globs. Can anyone give me more information on this?

If it tastes bad, I recommend some Johnny's Seasoning. Maybe a squirt of lime.
For smell...try bleach.

I don’t think baking soda will reduce the smell. I have never tried using baking soda but I would assume it would break you out down there and cause an unrelenting rash that itches unmercifully. When a woman is menstruating, it does not smell bad. Blood doesnt have an odor. It is the lack of hygiene the woman has that makes her smell bad. You are supposed to change your pad/tampon every four hours. You are supposed to wash your vagina area then with soap and water or if you don’t want to do that, just baby wipes at least. Some women don’t take proper care of themselves and just let themselves go as long as they can with a bloody tamp or pad. They don't shower or change their underwear. I know this for a fact because I lived with roommates like this and the smell is horrible. You had also asked a question about getting your "noony" to smell good. Try douching or try a product called Norforms. Douching takes away your natural juices though. It's good every once in a while. Norforms is the best and I live by it. Great product. I don’t recommend douching but whatever floats your boat....I also wouldn’t recommend tasting your menstrual flow. Why would you do something like that? you are too funny.

you may try those 2 issues perhaps, smell is brought about by utilising micro organism on the floor, try bathing utilising dial cleansing soap (it extremely is anti bacterial) then once you dry off, use an unscented anti prespirant IE optimistic, arid or dry concept, desire this helps you sweetie :)

ok..dont know why you would be tasting your blood..its really bad for your stomach..but everytime you change your tampon or pad..wash yourself with warm to hot water and soap..it wont smell bad..but also it has to do with what you eat that makes your period blood small bad
