I'm a 23 year old male and I weigh about 144 Ibs. I look really skinny, so I just recently started doing about 200 pushups a day to bulk up. I've only been doing it for like 2 weeks, but I still look terribly skinny. What can I do to fix this?!

Bump up the amount of protein in your diet, and take a good multivitamin. Also, to build muscle, you have to wait a day between exercising - so do pushups one day, and leg exercises the alternate day.

Okay, bulking up takes time.
If you do push ups for like six months you will start to see more muscles - in your arms and shoulders.

If you want a whole body bulk-up, you will need to exercise more muscle groups.

Also, since you are so young, you are probably just finishing growing (uowards), so it will take a while to not be so skinny - speaking from experience, I am a six foot tall woman, and it takes a long time to fill out after growing.

Things that help are high protein meals that have enough carbohydrates to replace what you burn during the day + extra if you are working out a lot. It might be a good idea to see a nutritionist to get the best results.

Good Luck.

2 weeks isnt gonna cut it. building muscle and gaining muscle-weight is a *****. its gonna take u a while... (1 yr...2 yrs?) to get where you want to be. you should see results after 2-3 months of intensive training. dont do much cardio... none to 2 times weekly. do at least 5 days a week in weight training and EAT EAT EAT! suppliment too... (fish oil, multi vitamin, protein powder, weight gainers)... maybe creatine... but 2 weeks? na u wont notice a difference after that short ammount of time... u need to eat, lift tons of weights and be determined!
