hi
When i started using tampos, i had to try various sizes because most of them hurt, and when i peed it hurt. So...I went to the next on smaller(the smaller the tampon ,the less liquid they absorb) so...it depends on your period and how heavy it is to dtermine how mant times in one day you should change one. ( always remember to take it out every 8 hours. Their is a serious disease that you can get from tampom use called"Toxic Shock Syndrom" and it has killed alot of woman. please follow all instructions on each tampon box ,so, that you are protected from this terrible disease.if you need more help.e-mail me
Good-luck,these sites are interesting and helpful...

It shouldn't happen. If you do exactly what it says on the box- press the applicator all the way in in the first half, and push the second half in all the way- it shouldn't happen. I know it can be uncomfortable when you first start using tampons to touch yourself "down there", but you will find times when you need to use a tampon. If you follow all directions clearly, then there should only be mild discomfort upon insertion and taking it out. If you do still feel pain, ask your mom if you can see a doctor. Until then, try to use pads instead.

No it shouldn't happen... sounds nasty but you need to put it in further. Plus when you pee if it's not in deep enough you get pee on the tampon and it soaks it up and so then you have a tampon full of pee inside your vagina. That could lead to infection. So try putting it in further, I had to explain this very thing to my daughter who just started. Good luck sweetie

Its person-friendly to locate it greater durable or impossible to pee while your vagina is finished. A greater narrow tampon will probable help, yet while its no longer too undesirable, in basic terms leave or no longer that is. The rigidity of a tampon or something interior your vagina will make it greater durable to pee. Thats a outstanding element once you have intercourse - its impossible to pee your self while a guy is interior despite the fact that if it looks such as you will possibly. For interest sake, the comparable element occurs to adult adult males - they are able to't pee while they're interior you the two. So, your established.

If you are still in pain after you take the tampon out.. it could be a scratch. If you have to urinate often and feel pain, call your doc... you could have a bladder infection which is totally unrelated to tampon wearing, but can lead to serious problems like kidney infections.

no it shouldnt hurt at all. maybe you dont have it in at the best angle or not far enough up or something. but tampons arent that good for you. i just use them when im out and at home use pads so you wont get toxic shock syndrome, cool?

You didnt insert it far enough. Remove it and try again pushing it all the way until your fingers touch your body before removing the applicator. You must also make sure you change it frequently enough and wipe from front to back.

I experience no such pain. You may have the tampon positioned incorrectly.
