Ash, its great to hear you are keeping fit, but these pains need to be checked out. Please go and make an appointment to see your local doctor. If you don't have one, ask friends and family to suggest someone you can trust. The nearest clinic is not always the best, sometimes.
You need a good doctor just like a car needs a mechanic, and its important to see your doctor regularly. Having someone to talk to about your health will help you solve problems that might come up in the future.

Hun that's not normal. I get weird little pains too but they aren't heart wrenching. If they are real bad you need to ask your mother to take you to the doctors. It could be a sign of a more serious problem. And if it is you would want to catch it early. But if it isn't then you have the doctors OK and an ease of knowing someone who knows what they are talking about said you'd be fine. Also if you think you need to diet and exercise he would let you know about that too.

Hi,
iwas concerned about your symptoms and i am not a doctor so i found excellent web site for you to go and study.it lists symptoms and shooting pains in your arm was addressed.
The Wb site is:www.healthfirstinc.com/health.
it suggests maybe you woke up one morning recently and your head was in an odd position. Could this be the answer? Or did you use your arm and shoulder and over extend yourself to make it hurt?
I hope you find the answer to your mystery pain. Remember, if the pain continues go to the doctor. Please tell your mom and dad about this, maybethey can help. When i pull my neck our of whack ,I take a warm bath ahd lay in the tub for awhile. it helps some, than i put stinky Ben gay on it. i fyou ave any ,put some on ,but where rubber gloves or wash your hands real, real good be cause you may accidentally forget you used it and rub your eyes and that burns and stings like crazy.... I hope that i helped you...good-luck.

It IS normal for teenagers to feel joint pains as their bones and soft tissues grow at different rate. However, it can also be a sign of illness. You should talk with your parents and visit a doctor for check up.

Make an appointment with your doctor asap. Don't try to minimize your pain with him. He needs to get as much information as possible to know what tests to run.
It could be any number of things. On the worst end: rheumatoid arthritis or fibromyalgia; or on the non-serious end: growing pains or a vitamin deficiency. You won't know 'till you GO. . .to the doctor, that is.

Did you tell your parents about this? I think it would be important if you do so!! Sounds like you may need to see a doc and I really don't think it has anything to do with your weight. Good luck.

Could be growing pains, or your spine could be out of alignment. Try a chiropractor first, then see your doctor.

That's totally abnormal. See a doctor, they might have to put you through tests on a treadmill and then they will decide what's going on.

joint pain is never normal...and while it could just be caused by your running or growth, you need to see your doctor to rule out something more serious.
