and that i should REALLY REALLY GET IT CHECKED, i did 3 yrs ago, dr then said it was high, not "gona die right now" high, but high enough,, that i need to change diet, mabey take medication, bla bla bla,,, any one else have this "diagnosis"?? im 43, eat right,most of time, dont work desk job, stay active, smoke, dont drink,,,,,,, really how serious is this??

that's pretty bad if your eye doctor can tell. Is it up to your eyeballs or somethin??? get it checked.....soon....unless you wish to have a heart attack

You should listen to your eye doctor. High cholesterol can damage your blood vessels - which can be apparent in the back of your eye - the only place it is possible to actually view our vasculature. Go get your cholesterol checked and you may have to control it with medications.

It really depends, many Americans think they are eating right, when in fact, they are not. Maybe start shopping in Trader Joes for healthier food, and go exercise everyday for at least an hour! (thats a minimum) Don't take medications! they are not trustworthy. Just be healthy.

Your eye doctor told you this? OK then you should really do something I mean eye doctors are for your eyes so if hes telling you about your cholesterol then somethings wrong.
