Leg cramps are caused by a deficiency of calcium. So get some good coral calcium from a health food store, and take 1.5 times the recommended dosage until the cramps stop, then use as directed. Magnesium will also be helpful if you have restless legs.

Believe it or not, try MUSTARD, yes, MUSTARD. My husband used to get terrible cramps on his legs, a friend told me that when he got the cramps I immediately give him 1 teaspoon of mustard and afterwards give him a little water. I was willing to try anything, he really was in pain when he got those cramps. It really worked, when he got the cramp , I would give him a teaspoon of mustard and a little water afterwards and slowly the pain would start to go away, I did this everytime and believe it or not he does not get these cramps anymore, it has been quite a while now. TRY IT, IT WORKED FOR MY HUSBAND.

my dad used to get rx's for quinine, but they stopped selling it. You can find quinine in tonic water, it's helped me.(quick fix--good also for migraines & charley horses)..also you might try potato skins or bananas or whatever other food is rich in Potassium, or a Potassium supplement...
