Well My mother has had it occasionally, since she was a teen and has had it mildly ever since. I've been showing the symptoms. I'm a teenager and I usually get 9 to 10 hours of sleep (per day) over the summer, but for the past 4 to 5 days I've only been getting 5 to 6 hours of sleep. I know stress is one of the causes of Insomnia and I have been stressed about school starting back and I have to take my test to get my permit in a few days, so I've been worrying about that too. I also have flashbacks every now and then about things in my childhood, which will cause me to cry in my sleep or cry when I wake up (like 4 or 5 am) and it's hard to go back to sleep. What is causing me to not get enough sleep? Is it mild insomnia, or something else? I need to know because I'm an honor student and starting my sophmore year in highschool and I'm going to need more then 5 hours of sleep.
