I have 2 20 pnd weights right and i want to tone my chest would it be best to use them or just do pushups which I can only do 10 of anyway?which one would be more effective ?how many reps should i do and what should i eat or not eat ?thanks for answering i really appreciate it

Do pushups followed by "flys." Also, use dips and vary the fly techniques. Each hand configuration and movement arc can work different parts of the petoralis muscle. To completely "blast" you pecs you also have to do a resisted pulldown excercise.

BUT, if you work just your chest you will become unbalanced and develop a "slouch" already very common in the US and other developed contries. To balance out you need to do reverse flies and all manner of back excercises. If you don't you very well may develop back and neck problems.

What i did was used 2 20 pound weights and did a set of 10 reps to start (once you have been doing it for awhile then your reps become more) and then would do 10 pushups (once again, these will increase too) and just continue to go back and forth until i honestly could not do either one anymore. I did end up doing more reps with the weights then pushups but it worked really well. You just have to stick with it and dont slack off or get lazy.

I personally can't do push ups because of a wrist problem, so I prefer to do lay on the floor and wrap the weights around a pretend barrell

hey hear me just do pushups regularle minimum 6 raps one tome and thrice in a day. you do one thing.eat boiled potato mash it with curd eat this in morning before brus. and along with it boiles black chana 100 gm. daily you will see diffrence within one month.
