I got my IUD the Mirena about 16 months ago and for the last year I would say that I have been having the WORST groin aches along with bad cramps and a backache. I know it is still in place BUT I AM IN PAIN. Could this be a infection? The doctors seemed puzzled and then today they were like well we would like you to come in and be checked out. I can't take this anymore. WHat could this be? What should be done? ALso my body seems to reject man made hormones like in BCP and so forth. This was a last resort. PLEASE HELP> WHAT SHOULD I DO?

OK...some of you may have seen my questions posted here in these last few weeks related to some female health issues I have been having as of lately. Well today I got my copy of the Transvaginal Ultrasound, certain parts which I can easily understand and other's that I'm unsure about. Does anyone know of a website that could assist me in reading my results? Mainly I'd like to know what's considered "normal" in reference to all the measurements it gives, but an all around better understanding would be greatly appreciated. If anyone could give me some assistance I would greatly appreciate it as I have been dealing with these issues for several weeks and doctors just keep brushing me off. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!

i take like a thousand vitamins a day just cuz.everything. it all equals likt my daily amount.needwed. couldnt anorexic people do that and live a long itme'/

OK..My situation is that I had my daughter in 1/2000 when I left the hospital I was given the depo shot. I was on that for 5 years then I had to be taken off. Then I started taking the standard pill for 3 months then I switched to seasonal I had been on them for almost a year "I believe" then I decided to stop taking birth control all together. Since I felt that I was taking them more as a habbit than anything considering that I am not sexually active. And I had gained alot of weight while on the birth control since January of 2000. And to mention that during this whole time I had not had one period.

My main reason to be taken off was hoping that I would start my period again and plus being off the pill both would help with me losing weight. Considering bc makes you gain weight. I have now been off the pill for almost 2 months. I had a breakthrough bleeding three weeks ago but that was it.

When will I start seeing the weight come off and what else can I do to help it come off?

I'm not pregnant, I know that for sure. But I haven't had my menstrual cycle since Jan. 4th & I'm always regular. I was on the Ortho Evra patch for a year, but it made me gain weight so I stopped taking it before my last period. Then, it was like BAM! I didn't have another.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My gynocologist retired & the other doctors in my area either have bad reputations or aren't accepting new patients. I don't know what to do! Someone please help!

...Does the habitual use of laxatives cause real weight loss, or just loss of water retention? If it results in real weight loss, how? Does food exit the body so quickly that the fat, calories, nutrients, etc. are lost? I thought poop was just waste! Are people who go #2 more often (naturally) thinner than those who don't???
