I'm not pregnant, I know that for sure. But I haven't had my menstrual cycle since Jan. 4th & I'm always regular. I was on the Ortho Evra patch for a year, but it made me gain weight so I stopped taking it before my last period. Then, it was like BAM! I didn't have another.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My gynocologist retired & the other doctors in my area either have bad reputations or aren't accepting new patients. I don't know what to do! Someone please help!

I experienced the same thing after stopping birth control. I went for 8 months without a period! I went to a doctor and everything is fine. Your body just needs time to readjust. Also, if you have begun exercising a lot or have lost weight it can affect your cycle. If you are exercising strenuously, I would recommend slowing down a bit or even trying yoga...it tends to bring the body back into balance. Don't worry! Everything is OK :)

I stopped using the patch about 2 months ago and know I have gained like 5 pounds which is not alot but I don't usually gain that much weight in that time frame. When I was pregnant i only gained like 25 pounds and after i had my baby all of it went away. So I know that weight gain is probably a side affect from the patch.

I would say alot of things make it so you don't get it and BC is I think the #1 cause. It plays a big role on your body along with different eating and STRESS. I have found that if you relax then it will and the red sea will happend again. Just make sure that you aren't prego every month that passes I would say to test JUST to be on the safe side. If you start to feel weird and so forth TRY really hard to get into a doctor. GOOD LUCK>

Are you obese, or really thin? You may have a hormone issue, you may need medication to correct it...try a different birth control...

maybe you're not getting enough nutrients? if your body doesn't it will try to save as much as possible, so your period will stop.
