I hate taking pills. But I found that if I pop the pill in my mouth then I take a big drink of water then swallow it helps. If you can crush them you can put the powder in applesauce. If they are liquid tabs you can let them melt a bit to soften them up pop one in your mouth take a drink or water and let it sit in your mouth a few minutes. You could also try flipping your head back or foreward while swallowing. Foreward usually forces things down your throat. Always swallow pills with a liquid never dry.

When I couldn't swallow pills I would take a tablet and crush it using two spoons. It helped, but now I've learned how to swallow pills normally.

My grandmother used to slice off a big chunk of banana and shove the pills into the chunk. Made it easier for my sister and I to take pills when we were kids. Chase with water or milk!

Good luck!

I have the same problem. I have a pill cutter purchased from a drug store that cuts the pill in half, or even smaller for larger pills. It is quite a handy gadget.
