Trident splash contains gelatin, and I found out that the gum base of many other chewing gums can contain animal byproducts. Vegetarians out there, do you chew gum?

i really want to become a vegetarian, but as a young man i eat loads and need lots of protein. i try to eat fish and white meat so i dont get loads of cholesterol. what can vegetarians eat that is healthy and high in protein?

I have looked on a lot of sites but find nothing practically useful. What are some good seasonings to toss with steamed or boiled vegetables?
I don't want to cook the season in, I just want to sprinkle or toss after they are cooked. I want my healthy veggies to have a little more flavor without adding too much sodium and such.

I have a vegan cookbook and it calls for all kinds of vegan items that I can't find at regular grocery stores. Where do I find 100% vegan food items such as cheese, butter, and mayo. Coconut oil, arrowroot and rice milk.

I've really only eaten fish that I've caught myself- trout and perch, some catfish. I like all of those, especially pan fried. But I'd like to start eating fish for the health benefits. Any tips?

apparently when animals are slaughtered for meat they get stressed and produce enzymes which go into the meat. When humans then eat the meat they become stressed and angry. therefore vegetarians are less stressed. please could someone send me in the direction of some scientific research confirming this matter.

I'm just curious. I have finally found a recipe that I like but am wondering how other vegans make their hot cocoa- since I'd love to try something new. I'm interested in dry mix versions as well as on the spot requires fresh "milk" versions.

(My current recipe is very basic: soy milk, sugar, cocoa, and very important... a big splash of vanilla extract.)

Suggestions for other variations I should try?

i hate that moment when i see to eat non veg to anyone.when i see a non veg shop i can hear the cry and pain of the animal.how a man become so cruel that they eat the another animal.if they say the r full of vitamins,minersals,proteins etc. then why they not eat the another human directly.a human very fulfill with this healthy points. why they not eat a child a man even after death.why only eat the animals.why?if u r a nonveg.plz go to a shop and see how a animal cut . do u agreee with me?

who wanted to eat meat, had to raise and kill it themselves. If it actually came down to legislation some day and vegetarians had the opportunity to have a bill passed, would this satisfy some of them (i.e.: anyone wanting meat for themselves and their family must raise said livestock under certain conditions and slaughter under certain conditions.)?

At our last protest, it was just me and 2 other people out there holding the signs at McDonalds as people drive bye beeping their horns and giving us the finger. I just feel so discouraged sometimes. I just don't know if I can go on anymore. I want all this killing to stop. I am just so upset right now, my hands are shaking from all the stress in my life. I just can't take this anymore.

I've been a vegetarian for abou a year now and Thurs. I had gallbladder surgery, yesterday night I had a weakspot and ate some bar-b-q salad, I couldn't even eat 8 small bites, I feel completely horrible! Can you help me? I know it was foolish but I was so hungry and I ate more ettuce than anything else, don't ridicule me!
