Mrs. Dash and you can use butter buds as well, if you'd like a buttery taste to go with it.

RE:
Good seasoning for steamed or boiled vegetables?
I have looked on a lot of sites but find nothing practically useful. What are some good seasonings to toss with steamed or boiled vegetables?
I don't want to cook the season in, I just want to sprinkle or toss after they are cooked. I want my healthy veggies to have a little more flavor...

I don't recommend boiling veggies, as that strips it of nutrients. I like to mix lemon juice, flax oil, and a dot of sweetener and mix it with steamed carrots. Then I sprinkle in some dried rosemary.

I like to toss them with a lite drizzle of olive oil and some chopped fresh herbs. It doesn't matter what herb, what ever you have on hand and sounds good to you at the moment.
Also for something a little different with potatoes, I cut them in bite size pieces before I boil them (I like the redskins), then as soon as I drain them I put them back in the hot pan with just a dab of butter a lite sprinkle of sugar and some chopped fresh mint. Its so yummy

Try this website. I'm lucky to live in one of the cities that they have a retail store in. Maybe you are too. Either way, I STRONGLY suggest you request a catalog. I believe they're free, and the website does not do justice to the amazing things they offer. I didn't know spices could be so good until I started using their stuff.
My absolute favorite all-purpose blend they offer is called herbs de Provence. It's FABULOUS on veggies and in soups and such. It's a blend of Rosemary, fennel, savory, thyme, basil, tarragon, dill, oregano, lavender (which I think is the addition that makes it so awesome), chervil, and marjoram. Their prices are very good for the quality and they're set up to ship to you. Again, I strongly suggest you order the catalog. You won't be disappointed! :-)

Here's some of my favorites:
- curry seasoning (or just cumin, coriander and some seasoned salt) on Asian-style mixed vegetables
- a soy-ginger sauce (I just use a soy-ginger dressing) for stir-fry vegetable mix
- sprinkling of sea salt and parsley on white potatoes
- cinnamon and a hint of raw cane sugar on sweet potatoes
- shiitake-mushroom dressing with broccoli
- curry seasoning on cauliflower; or I make a low-calorie version of mashed potatoes by purreeing cauliflower with garlic and salt.

I love steaming them or sauteing with garlic. Lemon juice is also very good.
Either of which you can certainly put on after cooking. It depends on what YOU Like.
Have you ever tried any of the Mrs. Dash flavors?

There's a new line of products called Sauce4 Veggies (www.sauce4veggies.com) that includes ready-to-use sauces for cooked vegetables (carrots, broccoli, green beans, asparagus). They are really low in fat and calories and taste great! If you use the Contact Us form on their web page, they will send you a coupon and let you know where you can buy them.

Will depend on on the context really. Which is better as a snack - fresh fruit to me. It's tastier and gives you that tad of sweetness. Which can be better as a snack if you are trying hard to lower back on sugar and lose weight vegetables
