After all Budda was a vegetarian, so was Ghandi, and Mother Teresa, but Adolf Hitler was also a vegetarian.
But you know who wasn't a vegetarian Jesus. I do try to respect all living things but I still like to hunt and fish. And if God didn't want you to eat meat then why did he make cows so stupid and delicious?

i would like to be healthier, and really don't eat much meat, so I want to because a kind-of vegatarian. From everything I have found, it would be a combo of a lot of different types.

I want to be able to *regularly* eat *chicken*, *fish and other seafoood*, *dairy products*, and preferably *eggs*, and *occasionaly* eat other meats.

From what I have found, there are only variations that allow

only fish and seafood
only chicken
only chicken and fish
all of the above with eggs
all of the above with dairy
occasional meat

is there a different type for me? I'm only twelve, abuout to turn thirteen, so I/other people can't usually fix stuff just for me, which is why i want it this way?

I've decided to go vegetarian and my dad's giving me all this bull **** about protein. So i went on here to see what foods do have protein in them and stuff, so i showed him the list and he basically is being an *** and pretty much ignored it, and so my mother looked at it and she said i need to know how much protein i need at my age, and then figure out how much i will have to eat and what, etc.

How come if animal cruelty is against the law the state allows the animals to be abused at the sluter houses? If someone had those animals as a pet they wouldent be allowed to do that.

Where is the best place to buy non-animal products like shoes, wallets, belts, things that are normally made of leather.

I have followed a vegan diet for some time, and I decided it isn't best to wear animal products and I'm looking for places to buy these items.

thanks

is there anything I might have forgotten?

If we were intended to feed from plants exclusively, our tooth enamel would be much thicker. How can a vegetarian claim it is "natural" for humans to eat no animal when our biology points to the contrary?

Hey there, so I do not like dairy products, I will eat yougurt occasionally, but that is a rare sight and only when I'm not feeling well, what are some other foods I can obtain this calcium from? Since I am still growning and such. Or what else can I drink? should I try soy, almond or rice milk?

Folks, help me figure this out. I come on here asking for advice about how to make a vegetarian gravy that is reminiscent of sausage gravy, you know like for biscuits and gravy. I want to make some for my mother who is vegetarian for health reasons. Instead, I get bashed by people for wanting to make a veg. gravy that tastes like sausage. What is so wrong with this? Would I get the same response if I asked for a chicken parmesan recipe using vegetarian chicken? It's pretty much the same concept. I guess I am missing something here?

Can someone tell me truthfully if being a vegetarian can make you pale and if yes, why? Veggie/vegan haters please click the back button and dont bother answering my question unless you are going to be mature about it and not get into meat sweats trying to offend me...and what can be done to avoid paleness for veggies.

Eat your bean sprouts, your lentils, dandelions and nything else you like, if you don't want to eat meat, is that asking too much, or should we fight it out in open warfare?
