Eat your bean sprouts, your lentils, dandelions and nything else you like, if you don't want to eat meat, is that asking too much, or should we fight it out in open warfare?

I am not bothered by Vegans I think they believe they want to help us by giving amnesty to cows lol
Anyway I dont really know militant vegans as it were but if they believe its better for them more power to them I suppose
I will say this we need to be a little more leary of these fast food places such as KFC
http://kfccruelty.com
also you need to see some information from this site
http://ravediet.com
so I have to say there is some merit to what they have to say
I have stopped eating all forms of pork since viewinig a video of a farmer skinning a pig alive made me sick quite honestly
I do not know of any vegetarian or vegan being militant so far as I have known they merely suggest. i hate to admit this or maybe I dont lol I like gardenburgers
I will conclude by saying if any side is pushing the issue on this it is the meat eaters
Cybil Sheppard did a commercial for a well knowin hamburger chain the tag line
"I dont trust a man that doesnt eat meat." What suggestive advertising that is
You also have sexy thin model in Carls jr ads Im sure they eat that way all the time please
Oprah who I despise was villified by the Texas Cattle Ranchers for her statement about not eating meat to the point where the pressure was on her to have a burger on her national TV show
Heres a thought why do we even care what other people eat. If you eat crap you will get sick If you eat healthy you will be health

Most vegans & vegetarians *do* leave you alone & only explain why we're veg if someone asks. I'm pretty sure there are *lots* more veggie-bashing flesh-eaters than there are omnivore-bashing vegans.
You've taken the time & energy to come to the vegetarian section to make your point, and I notice that a number of people responding to your question also eat meat.
How many vegetarians or vegans bother to go into the other sections simply to insult flesh-eaters?
How have vegans been tormenting you? Someone who wears a veggie-themed T-shirt or politely asks a waitress if there's chicken stock in the soup is *not* imposing his/her beliefs onto anyone else but simply exercising personal freedom.

foodvfan,
you are insane. and so very wrong.do a little research.
thats one of the funniest comments I have seen all day. You will find zero cholestrol in everything you just mentioned...along with ALL other NON animals products.
To the questioner: I'd love to leave the rest of the "world" alone, however the rest of the "world" seems entirely too fascinated with our lifestyles. Maybe you should flip that question around.

Not all vegetarians and vegans try to force other people to follow their way of life. I am a vegetarian and I have plenty of friends and family members who love meat, but I don't tell them to stop eating meat. Actually in response to Amkii it's the opposite. My friends at school are always telling me I should eat meat and one day they are gonna get me to eat it.

I'm glad tools like you that survived the military are ignorant enough to do the things you do..we can only hope as a race all the stupid in our society kills itself off over some exponentially growing ratio - preferably in my lifetime. I rarely eat bean sprouts, lentils and maybe one or two dandelions when I was younger..I'm glad your government gave you such a good education - its a wonder you never went on to do research, human development or design of some sort with that sort of background!

I'm an omnivore, and a damn proud one.
But your post is simply ridiculous.
You're treating them like one human being. I know vegetarians who never even mention it once. Not everyone will throw it in your face. There are plenty of meat eaters, like yourself that shove it in others faces that you do eat meat.
Yes, I will admit that I've come across people who rub it in and try to convert me to not eat meat, but I can't exactly blame them knowing that there are people like you doing the same.

Don't worry Retired Guy, you can rest assured that your generation will continue to be dominated by an omnivorous diet and mentality.
Or can you, since the very fact that veganism has effected you to the point of posting an attack here, shows that it is truly on it's road to being the way of the future?
Sweet.

No matter how much people say not to eat meat, it will always happen. The world is focused on "meat eating" and killing innocent animals. I'm a "meat eater", I like meat, grew up on it. I respect people who don't eat meat, but not for me. And yes, I looked at the meat.org website video and feel bad...but **** happens...unforthunetly there will be warfare about "meat eating" for years to come

Quote: Cholesterol (which is only found in animal products)
Not true. Nuts, olives & olive oil, Avocados and several other non meat items have Cholesterol.
Be careful if you are assuming you aren't getting cholesterol if you didn't know this.
