I was wondering how those videos would be obtained? Slaughterhouses would not let people with cameras in. So where did these some from.

Videos from phones are always terrible in quality. They aren't going to let anyone in. It would probably be an employee and they would stand out even if it was undercover. How old do you think those are anyways?

I remember seeing a documentary(although not involving a slaughterhouse), but another type of place that involved animal cruelty. The "investigator" applied and got the job like anyone else would. He brought in a camera and recorded while he worked there. Not something I would be able to endure, but they are doing it to expose the cruelty and stop more animals from suffering, so they stay for months gaining footage. They have to totally become the part they are playing, so not to be found out.

Are you the person that keep saying vegans aren't vegans because cars have glue in them ?

So whats the point of your question. Are you suggesting these vidoes were staged ?

Correct, slaughter houses would not let people with cameras in...that says something in itself.

perhaps someone working there had a sudden attack of the morals and realised what they were doing was wrong. Perhaps a veggie got a job there to specifically take the video, perhaps they sneaked in.

Whichever way it was, who cares, you are just distracting from the real issue of aninmal welfare and husbandry..

Some of the footage comes from home video camcorders that are brought in by workers and sold for $ to animal rights groups. Maybe? I have no sources for this but this is my best guess, it's a good question.

Couldn't it be done with one of those cell phones with a video recorder? That's how they made the video of Saddam Hussein's hanging.

This movie is real- its from the 1980's though, so the meat industry isn't quite as bad, although its still really terrible.

Yeah, PETA does this a lot. They hire people to work there and sneak the footage.
