Unless you agree with the fact that animals have to spend their whole lives suffering, just so we can eat them in 5mins, then I cannot see a reason as to why anyone would eat meat.

Also, I think that women who eat meat are nasty. I would never date a woman who puts dead animals in her body. That is just gross.

A friend of mine knows this, but when she invites me over for dinner, she always has a meat as the main dish. I don't want to be rude, but I don't think that she takes my vegetarianism seriously. And if she invites me over for dinner, I don't want to refuse the meal and be rude. What should I do?

I wanted to make Ezekiel bread, but it said to grind my own flour from beans lentils and verious linds of grains...I don't have a flour mill, and they seem pretty $pendy, YKWIM? So what i'm asking is there a way to get around this with out buying a flour mill? I have a professional Cuisinart food processor, and wondered if I could use this? I also have a Kitchen Aid mixer and have seen the flour mills for them...are they any good? If not mabye another recipe where I don't need to grind my own flour...BUT I guess the whole point of Ezekiel bread is because it is nutritionally complete, and pre ground stuff probably not as good for you...AND where in the heck do you get preground beans? Never heard of that either...

I hate cooking but love eating. LOL I always buy the store bought but would like to try making one on my own. Have never tried to so would like an easy recipe please. I love eggplant, zucchini, broccoli. One that would include these vegetables.

Recently purchased (less than 10 days ago) some organic carrots and put them in a paper sack in the panty/laundry room. Some have gone limp. What would account for this? Don't recall any being limp when I removed them from the original plastic bag.

I'm helping to plan my sister's wedding and need some suggestions for vegetarian alternatives. My veggie friends often complain that vegetarian options are usually pretty bland. What are some interesting vegetarian dishes that you would recommend? So far I'm thinking of something like stuffed eggplant, risotto, or some kind of pasta primavera.

How can I tell when the soy milk in my fridge has expired? I don't drink soy milk that often, so even a quart of it tends to sit at the back of my fridge. I also know that the carton says to drink within five to seven days of opening. However, it's sometimes hard to remember exactly when I opened it.

Is there any way to tell by the texture, smell, etc, that soy milk has expired? I've been drinking this stuff for a year now and can never tell until about a half hour after I've drank it. I get a horrible upset stomach.

Real answers only, please.
