Of course you can. There are no laws that prohibit one from bringing something from one state to another (except kidnapping and fire arms, of course). However, if you were to bring them to a foreign country, that might be a different story, but NOT from Iowa to California.

I don't see why not. It's state to state, so it's fine. If you're flying, that may be a different story. With all the new stupid laws, they'll probably think that you're carrying liquid explosives in the tomatoes. Idiots. Anyway, driving would be better.

It depends on how many you're bringing and if you're traveling via I-80. When we enter California via I-80 they ask about produce and if it's just for you to eat or if you're intending to sell it or something. We had a bag of grapes and some apples and oranges in our cooler that were fine to bring into the state.

You can bring tomatoes back to california only if you are driving,but if you are
flying:No,you cannot.

Why? Cal has it's own tomatoes. Vine ripened is sunny Cal.
