Hearty Rice Skillet (This only takes about 25 min from prep. to eating!)

1 can ( 15 oz,) each of black bean, chickpeas (garbanzo beans), red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (14-1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes, cut up

2 cups loose pack frozen mixed vegetables

1 cup water

1/4 cup quick cooking brown rice ( barley is good too)

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or dried dill, crushed

Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce (optional)

1 can ( 10-3/4 oz.) condensed tomato soup

1/2 cup slivered almonds

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

In a large skillet, stir together beans, chickpeas, undrained
tomatoes, frozen vegetables, the water, the uncooked brown rice
or barley, and, if desired, the hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling;
reduce heat. Cover and simmer for approx. 12-14 minutes or
until the rice or barley is tender. Stir in soup and heat through
Right before serving, stir in almonds and sprinkle with cheese.

Tasty when served with Jalapeno cornbread: just make regular cornbread batter and add chopped jalapenos and 1 can drained sweet corn to the batter. cook as normal.

My family loves this recipe and asks me to make it about once a week! I am the only vegetarian in my family, but they love this.
.
p.s. I always add an extra can of black beans and 1 can of drained sweet corn to mine. Make sure all of the beans and chickpeas are rinsed and drained. This lessens the amount of salt that are in the beans.
Enjoy!!

go get yourself some boca or morningstar ground "beef" (it is textured veggie protein). then you can just look up any non-vegetarian recipe online that uses ground beef, and substitute the veggie protein. some places to start...

lasagna or spaghetti with "meat" sauce
tacos
stuffed peppers
fried rice
"meat" loaf
shepherd's pie
homemade veggie burgers

my favorite recipe that i'm making tonight (NOTE: this is not neccessarily quick and easy, but hey it could be harder):
-9 lasagna noodles
-1 jar tomato sauce
-2 cloves minced garlic
-1 small chopped white onion
-pinch italian seasoning
-container ricotta or cottage cheese
-2 cups shredded mozarella cheese
-1 cup shredded parmesan cheese (i really like it freshly shredded, not the grated stuff from a green can)
-1 package (or more if you want) textured vegetable protein
-2 tbsp olive oil

sautee the garlic and onions in olive oil for about five minutes. add the tomato sauce and simmer about 10 minutes, then add the vegetable protein and cover. cook noodles according to package directions. stir ricotta or cottage cheese with italian seasonings to make it easier to spread. spray an 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil. ladle about 1/2 cup "meat" sauce in the bottom. put first three noodles on top of the meat sauce, spacing evenly, trimming if necessary. layer with 1/3 of the meat sauce, 1/3 of the ricotta, and 1/3 of the mozarella. repeat twice and top with parmesan cheese. bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes... voila!

(what makes this easy is that you can assemble it ahead of time and cover it and put it in the fridge. then you can clean up all the dishes, and just bake it whenever you're ready to eat it. it stays in the fridge unbaked for 3 days and in the freezer for a month)

Peanut butter sandwiches, Humus in a pita with veggies, falafel sandwich...
If you mean more formal food you can make a vegetarian mousakka, or substitute tofu for meat in any well seasoned dish since the seasoning covers the taste of the tofu. I've even made vegatarian lasagna using kidney beans; I just seasoned it really well and used a little extra garlic.

15 minutes from start to finish.
1. Put short pasta on to boil.
2. Slice onion, courgette, peppers, mushrooms ( and anything else you like ) and fry in olive oil as pasta is cooking.
3. Drain pasta, add tablespoon or so of red or green pesto.
4. Stir in fried veggies, open a nice bottle of Frascati and eat up!
This is quick, nutritious and yummy!

CHILLE - tomatoe sauce, peppers, onions
use KIDNEY beans and TVP(textured vegetable protein) and then just add the chille spices you'd add...

Well as far as BATHING suits go, cover up the cleavage is the main thing. I think some women go around "half-naked" for alterior reasons, a suit that I'd approve of is one that is ethical for a wife of mine to wear... I mean a real WIFE of a man would want to COVER HERSELF in public to some extent rather than "flaunt" the private emotion in the public eye/

And instead of "fishing" try some PHISH music, i think it really helped me WAKE up to some extent.... consumption in thru the EARHOLE.

I know this sounds stupid, but you asked for "quick and easy." Anything with nuts, especially peanut butter (in moderation) because peanuts help make up for the loss of protein without meat in your diet. Personally, I live on spaghetti and other wheat products. Spaghetti, mac & cheese, anything from the stove only takes 5-10 mins.

Quick & easy stir-fry. You can get yummy stir-fry mixes from the store, some come with seasonings & others you'd have to add your own. Dump it over rice. Or, pick your own veggies to stir-fry, maybe toss in some cubed tofu, & add spices or soy sauce.

Also, meatless spaghetti is a good & easy one.

And the good-ole veggie burger. Buy it, pan-fry it & slap on a bun with the fixings of your choice.
