Hi!
So...you want to become a vegetarian....
but you say its difficult because all you eat is meat, huh?
Okay. Well you can start by having one day out of a week eating a animal-product-free diet.
After you get used to that, then you can start having one animal-product-free meal a day.
If you go gradually you can make the switch.
Also, you don't neccesarily have to exclude meat all the way from your diet. As long as you are making a noticable effort to reduce suffering then you have made a difference.
Hope this helps! =]

Well, the choice is your's. If eating meat is something that truly tears you apart inside, then you just need to stop eating it and pick yourself up some fresh fruit and vegetables, perhaps get yourself a book with vegetarian recipes and go from there. One thing that you need to think about is what kind of vegetarian you will be. There are ppl that eat only white meat, ppl who eat no meat, and ppl who will not eat anything that comes from an animal including and drinking milk. Good luck!

I became vegan for health reasons (I'm diabetic). Since I didn't start out as concerned about animal cruelty as you are, I needed some help to stay the course. (Since then my views have changed quite a bit).
PETA puts out a video called "Meet Your Meat". Although I have suspicions that it is perhaps excessively extreme to make a point, if what is on that video happened even once, it's still too often.
So every time I had a hankering for cheese or whatever I went and watched the video. That cured the craving pretty quickly for me. Good Luck!

Eat only fresh fruit in the mornings as for breakfast, the fruits is what helps clean our bodies, you can drink juice if you want but only fresh home made juice ( Not from a can or bottle) Around lunch time you'll want to eat above ground veggies like corn, peas and green beans. Those kind of veggies. These are what gives us energy during the day. Please nothing from a can. They won't do u any good at all.
Supper time you'll want to eat those veggies grown below ground like carrots and potatos. Here's the catch The only thing you can cook is the potatos and I would suggest slowly baking those, Everything needs to be eaten raw. The heat in cooking kills the things we need to make us healthy. Nothing processed at all is allowed you'll be defeting the purpose. only clean water to drink ( no tap water , thats some nasty stuff ) no coffee no tea no beer or whiskey no soft drink of any kind.. Abosolutley nothing that is processed and at your best don't cook any of it. at least if you have to cook it cook at extreamly low heat and not for any lenght of time. Oh you can have peanuts almonds ectt... raw no salt sorry no salt or butter to any foods either.

Go to a natural foods market or health food stores they have wonderful alternatives to your favorites like soy burgers, pizza, etc. Also look for recipes online or buy some cook books. You just have to be informed. And be sure to take your vitamins every day to keep you strong and choose high protein alternatives such a beans. You're gonna have to get creative and be informed but you'll feel great.

BE VEGAN ALL THE WAY....consider barbara's "will power" statement....consider yourself on the "chopping block" or worse yet in teh "rape house" , I mean I guess it all depends on how you look at it, would you rather be RAPED like a cow or MURDERED like a bull? PLEASE SAY NEITHER!! and please say a few words to your family about the situation of man's horrible treatment towards other creatures... you have to FIRST be strong yourself.... you may have to do a lot of things yourself in teh beginning but over time there is teh hope that things will change as to where there is a better all VEGAN product market, created by MAJORITY demand.

Vegetarians, as a whole, do not eat red meat. Some also choose to exclude poultry (pollo-veg) and/or seafood (pesco-veg). Because chicken and fish are indeed meat, it's debatable whether most would call it vegetarianism, but they are accepted forms.
Many veg's, in additon to actual flesh, eliminate non-meat animal products like gelatin and caesin. It varies a lot, though.
Drop all meat, but eat eggs and dairy, you're "lacto-ovo-vegetarian"
Drop all dairy products, and eat eggs, you're "ovo-vegetarian"
Drop eggs in all forms, but consume dairy, you're "lacto-vegetarian"
No eggs OR dairy, plus, no non-meat animal products, including honey, and you're, by definition, "vegan".
Go even further, and eat only plants and plant products (nothing grown with bacteria), and you're "macrobiotic" *please note, some macrobiotics DO eat meat. There's more to the philosophy than being non-meat-eaters. So, it's not technically a form of vegetarianism*
Vow not to cook your food, or do anything but pick and eat, and you're "raw-vegan", "raw-macrobiotic", or just "raw".
SO, to answer your question, there are, in fact, EIGHT forms af vegetarianism. (macro's don't count) pollo, pesco, pollo-pesco, ovo, lacto, lacto-ovo, vegan, and raw.

Animals dying to feed us is horrible. Just be careful because vegatarians are prone to getting kidney stones. Talk to a doctor about that before you try anything...
