I am planning a romantic dinner for my boyfriend and I can't think of anything to make. I am looking for at least 3 courses and I want something kinda fancy, but he is picky with food. He doesn't eat seafood, mushrooms, or cream sauses. Any ideas without those would be greatly appreciated.

This is my 2nd time and I have to get a lot better at making a cake. I wanna make one for New Year's Day. Like just a small one with icing and decorations. But I don't know how to do that exactly. Can you suggest any ideas for a perfect cake!
Thanks!

Our home uses propane for heat and cooking. When we bake in our oven, everything comes out tasting a little bit like the smell in the propane. Usually deserts don't have this taste, but casseroles and pizzas and such do. Does this happen a lot, or are the settings on our oven not right? Any advice would be great. Thanks a ton.

I was watching the Food Network. The host of the cooking show was saying how having something like bricks in the oven keep the temperature steady, expecially when I opne and close it a lot-- or in the case of making cookies, where I'd be swapping trays in and out.
I was wonderig if anyone does this? and which bricks are safe? Do some bricks contain lead?!?!

Ok, I know this is going to sound weird, but my friends mom used to make this white ball looking thing with some ham or some kind of meat all in it...it was sooo good and you could eat it with Ritz crackers......I know what a normal cheeseball is....but hardly anyone has heard of what I am talking about....it is completely white with ham in it....

If you have heard of this....or know the recipe, I would LOVE to know it!!!

Thanks inadvance!

My husband loves the mixed vegetables from the Flaming Wok in the mall. I've tried to find a duplicate recipe but I'm not having any luck. Help please. :)

For Christmas my mom ordered cake truffles for dessert and they were amazing! There were a few red velvet cake truffles covered in white chocolate (to keep the truffle shape i suppose) and numerous kinds of chocolate cake tuffles covered in either white, milk or dark chocolate. They had the texture of fudge brownies and were so decadent!

Has anyone ever made these? I would love a recipe or a link! Also, how did you cook it to keep its shape?

with a knife, to train them from fearing blood, pain, and accidents?
Also, is it true they put a live rabbit or goose in the school's refrigerator in the teaching kitchen, and make the students open up the fridge and kill whatever lurks inside and then cook something with it to be eaten and graded later?
Thanks.

Like the dough you would find in a Mellow Mushroom... the kind that's tough enough for you to toss, stretch, and spin yet still give you a nice thin middle with a perfect bubbly outer crust.

I have a stand mixer if that can be used.
