Do a fancy salad or soup as your first course. Then make a steak with a butter garlic white wine sauce over it with a bake potato then sautee some asparagus in butter and garlic to go with or any veggie. For your dessert do chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne.

Ahhh to be young again. I remember those days, my husband use to do stuff like that. She will always remember this meal. I would go to Trader Joe's, they have great Indian food in the box and all you have to do is take the foil bag out of the box and boil it. Believe it or not, it is really good and you can purchase the samosas in the freezer section and the naan (stay away from the garlic and onion) in the bread section. This is a fairly stress free way to show this great girl how much she means to you. For a dessert that is made 100% by you and has an Indian feel to it simply scoop some vanilla frozen yogurt into a bowl big enough for two, sprinkle with fresh blueberries and drizzle with honey. It's yummy, light and sharing the bowl will be a nice way to get close enough for a kiss. Also, a nice touch would be to sprinkle blue and/or purple flower petals around the candles. Good luck.

make this the night before
chill the wine
buy some garlic bread and you are set!
spaghetti pie
12 servings
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 pound spaghetti
salt, for pasta
12 eggs, lightly beaten
1 ½ cups grated parmesan cheese
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, very finely minced
½ cup Italian parsley, chopped
salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Equipment
9” x 12” baking dish, preferably glass€
Preparation
Lightly grease the inside of a 9” x 12” baking dish with the butter. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Prepare the spaghetti according to the package directions and undercook by 2 or 3 minutes. It should be very al dente. Drain and rinse with cool water. Set aside.
Beat the eggs lightly to combine. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese, extra virgin olive oil, finely minced garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
[Chef’s Note: Be sure not to add too much salt as the cheese has plenty of salt already.]
Add the egg mixture to the spaghetti and mix until all the spaghetti is well blended with the eggs. Pour into the buttered baking dish and spread the spaghetti mixture evenly in the pan. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes or until the eggs are completely set. Uncover the spaghetti pie and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and bake, uncovered, for another 5 minutes or until the mozzarella is melted and slightly browned. Remove from the oven and cool.
Service
Spaghetti pie is best served at room temperature. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If longer storage is required, it can be wrapped in plastic wrap and then in foil and placed in the freezer for up to a month. Thaw and bring back to room temperature before serving.
Variations
Spaghetti pie is one of those delightful recipes that can be creatively adapted to individual tastes. Feel free to add your own special ingredients such as pepperoni, prosciutto, maple ham, sun dried tomatoes, blanched vegetables or other types of grated cheese. You can also substitute whole wheat or spinach spaghetti, or even linguine or fettucine.

For an appetizer start with a cheeseball and some crackers. Make a nice salad for a starter. Then make steak baked potatoes and veggie for dinner. Then if he is a chocolate lover, here is a sure fire recipe for a chocolate pie. Buy a graham cracker crust, six hershey bars, and one container of cool whip. Melt the chocolate bars over the stove. Once melted turn off the heat and add the cool whip. After the cool whip is mixed well with the chocolate, and to graham cracker crust and put in the fridge. So simple and so very good :)

Well, you have already received 2 steak answers, so let's see if I can give you another option. How about an Italian dinner?
Maybe chicken picatta? Dredge chicken breast tenders in just enough flour to lightly coat it. Saute them in butter and capers. A little squeeze of fresh lemon juice right before you take it out of the pan. Serve it with Frozen Green Beans fried with crispy bacon and Mrs. Dash Garlic seasoning. A nice Tiramasu for dessert (you can find it in the frozen dessert section usually). A nice Sauvignon Blanc wine too.

chocolate of course.
mango
apple
strawberries
pineapple
of course you have to have a chocolate fondue to dip these in
Try lasagna a simple one and there are substitutes for Ricotta.
Ricotta is also part of the ingredients that help it stay moist. A nice Chianti goes well with this. (Classico)

You know his tastes from eating out so it it up to you -
Be sure to use beef only and no pork.
Did I mention chocolate - chocolate is very very romantic.

I hope these help, they are all very impressive dishes and are fairly easy to make. With 3 courses you could choose a salad course or soup course as well.

My wife made me a special dinner. She smeared her naked body with peanut butter. I hate peanut butter but it was the best meal I've ever had.
