I'm looking for a recipe for a salad that I had at The Melting Pot. The salad was called "Mandarin and Almond Oriental Salad." If you go their website -- www.meltingpot.com--and look at their menu you'll see the salad listed on the first page.

It was absolutely delicious and I've been searching for the recipe. So if anyone can help me find the recipe for the dressing, etc....I would really appreciate it.

I am looking for a variety of easy breakfast type recipes that can be made the night before and heated in the morning. I lead a morning bible study at my church and to encourage attendance I feed the dedicated souls that attend each week. I hate to serve the same thing every Sunday and am looking for ideas. Thank you.

Well… title pretty much says it all. I am a 21-year-old guy with absolutely NO cooking skills at all. It is my own fault really because I have not taken any initiative in doing it (although I love to eat…haha!) so luckily my activities and metabolism keep me slim. Besides, I stay on campus anyways, so I eat out like every night. Nevertheless, a good friend of mine has invited me to a potluck in 3 days and as you know, I should bring a dish. Therefore, can anyone of you give me any ideas (and if you’re really nice instructions too) on how to make something simple, easy but also delicious? It can be a cooked or chilled thing, as long as it is good and easy.

If not, I will have to beg my mom to make me something that I can take. LOL! However, thought I would take the imitative now and give cooking a try, so any help would be great. Thanks! <:o)

For example imagine the situation when the induction waves reaching the food being cooked, howver I am well aware that induction waves dont harm the non-ferromagnetic content, however some green leefy vegetables have got iron mineral (an essential food supplement) which is unfortunately ferro-magnetic. So my concern wont this induction cooking burn the minute iron mineral in the food being cooked.

I'm wondering if cooking something liquidy, especially something acidic like tomato sauce, will ruin the seasoning of cookware like a wok or cast iron pan.

I am a single mother of 3 and find that at the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is slave over the stove. However I like to prepare foods for my children because it saves money and its better for them. I dont like the tv dinner or chef boyardee thing, so anyone know any good, fast and easy recipes that the family will enjoy?
