Chewy Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Sift together the all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder and baking soda; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla, until well blended. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon, stir in walnuts if desired. Drop cookies by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are light brown. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

CHOCOLATE CHOC - CHIP COOKIES
2 1/4 c. flour, unsifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (4 oz.) pkg. Jello brand chocolate flavor instant pudding mix
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped
Mix flour with baking soda. Combine sugars, butter, vanilla and pudding mix in large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Then stir in chips and nuts (batter will be stiff). Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 7 dozen.

* 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLî TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
* 1 cup chopped nuts
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
PAN COOKIE VARIATION: Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Prepare dough as above. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen bars.
