Before i head out to my local supermarket to buy seasonings,
What seasonings do you always have in your kitchen for cooking:
beef?
chicken?
pork?
fish?
soup/stew?
vegetables?
salads?
mexican food?
italian food?
chinese food?

You can just name a few to save time, or if anyone has a website that would really help as well, thanks to everyone who replies

I baked a chicken brest in a dish with rice and cream of chicken and I think I put in too much rice. It's very thick--The texture is alot like stuffing...It's tastey, but is there anything I can add to it that would make it moist? Right now it's very dry.

I usually use that canned Prego sauce, but Im out. If I have just regular tomato sauce, what should I add to it for better flavor? I was thinking of adding some garlic, basil, and maybe some sliced mushrooms and/or onions....am i right? Or is there anything I should add or leave out?
Thanks!!

THe menu consist of Turkey(of course), dressing, greens, cornbread (yams with marshmellows),Ham, macaroni and cheese casserole, Homemade German Chocolate cake, sweet potatoe pie, pumkin pie and lemon cream pie. Should I start cooking the sweets the day before? The plan is to be done cooking by 2. 10 points to whoever gives the best schedule.(I have a son too so it'd be nice to fit time in for a snack for him.)Im off the whole week of thanksgiving so I can start as early as Monday.

Id even appreciate websites with suggested timelines. i couldn't find any myself. THANKS A BUNCH!!!!!!!

okay...1st of all, I HATE COOKING...so dont get all fancy with the recipe. DONT send me a link to a website either...if i wanted to go to a website, then i would..but i dont.

i have this whole chicken in my fridge...it was frozen until a couple of days ago (its still good right???). it is a Tyson - Premium Young Chicken (it doesn't say...i would guess 5-7 pounds...)

i have - milk, butter, eggs, salt & pepper, seasoned salt, cinnamon, dales sauce, potatoes & carrots, 1 can cream of chicken, chicken boulyon, rice a roni, mayo must & ketsup, vegetable oil, flour, sugar, and THATS IT.....thats all of my kitchen ingredents...i told you that i dont cook.

can i cook it in a crock pot?? i have never used one before...i got one for christmas last year but i just dont know how to use it...i am not concerned with how long it takes to make (like i dont need to be eating this chicken in 45 minuts...)

please help...i would feel bad if i let this chicken go to rot just b/c i cant cook....thanks!!

Back in the mid 80's there was a recipe for chicken spaghetti that was fabulous....cooked shredded chicken, cooked spaghetti, with mushroom soup and other soups and cheez whiz (i think). I would love to have this recipe again if anyone still has it.

It's for a whole chicken. Also I would'nt be able to do it overnight, 3 or 4 hours at the most, but maybe it wouldn't need it as much since it's smaller and there's no skin.

I'm confused about Sabatier knives. Is Sabatier the make or the design? There are Stellar Sabatier, Judge Sabatier, Deglon Sabatier and for all I know there could be a whole lot more. Does anyone know what is the best, i.e. professional quality and which ones are intended more for domestic food prep.

The Pumpkin Pie Gems to be exact. The directions call for you to bake the cups on a baking sheet for 10-12 minutes on the lowest oven rack. Once you pour in the filling it calls for you to return to oven and bake for another 20-24 minutes. What it doesn't say is if your supposed to continue the baking on the lowest oven rack or if you bake it on the middle rack like you do for normal pumpkin pies. This may sound dumb to most but I just want to make sure so if anyone has any idea could you please share it with me...thanks
