This link offers a large selection of bread machine recipes but the Zuni Indian Bread if one of my favorites and I've made it often
ZUNI INDIAN BREAD
3 Tbsp. Dry buttermilk OR 7/8 c Buttermilk
7/8 c Water if dry buttermilk used
1 Egg (I use just a white)
1 tsp. Powdered lecithin (optional)
1 2/3 c Whole wheat flour
1 c Bread flour
1/3 c Cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. Applesauce (or apple butter)
3 Tbsp. Molasses
1/3 c Dry roasted sunflower seeds
1/4 tsp. Baking soda (omit if using
-powder buttermilk
3 tsp bread machine Yeast
Use light setting.
