Yum yum!!! Definately add about 1/2 cup of water. you can use this at the end along with the chicken juices to make a nice gravy! Sounds like absolute comfort food! Hope this helps. Enjoy!!

water. You will need to add the salt and pepper and boulion to ad the needed flavor though. The secret of crockpot cooking, also is to keep the lid on during the whole course of the cooking because the liquids will vaporize and steam will escape if you take the lid off. There is a lot of juice in the bird and potatoes but some liquid will need to be in there to get things started, just leave the lid on after you fill it and don't let your curiosity take that lid off till a few hours have passed. Good luck!

Yes, you need a little moisture
Suggestion: add a small can of stewed tomatoes plus a third of the can additional water. Additional herbs, spices, garlic and onion, maybe a bit of olive oil and wine to taste if desired.

I would add a little water or something flavored like apple juice.

Chicken broth will not only help you with the moisture, but certainly lends flavor!
